Ashley Harrison

Ashley has become known within Rugby League for his consistency and more recently his marketability. Originally from Queensland, Ashley reached a major goal of playing State of Origin football in game 3 2005.

He began his career playing with the Brisbane Broncos and made the move to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2003 where he has completed 3 seasons and been a standout performer week in and week out in a mostly poorly performing side. As a sign of his high regard and leadership abilities within the club, Ashley was made captain of the Rabbitohs late in the 2005 season, even after he had signed to play for the Sydney Roosters from the 2006 season.

Following the early taste of finals football Ashley enjoyed with the Broncos, he is looking forward to trying to get the Roosters back to the Finals after missing out last year for the first time in 2005.

George Smith

George Smith is a current Australian Rugby Representative and widely considered amongst the best loose forwards in International Rugby. A renown ball winner for his team, George is also blessed with great skills that gives him a fantastic all round game.

George has represented Australia on more than 60 occasions, remarkable considering he is only 25 years of age. He has also represented the ACT Brumbies in the Super 12 (now Super 14) in 68 games and has won 2 Super 12 titles whilst finishing runner up on another 2 occasions.

George has had many Rugby highlights including the John Eales Medal for Best and Fairest Australian Player in 2002 and in the same year Player of the Tri Nations Series between Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. In 2001, George was also nominated by the International Rugby Board for the International Rugby Player of the Year.

Highlights for George in the sporting arena have not only come on the football field. George is a part owner of 2005 Queensland Oaks (Group 1) winner and Queensland Derby (Group 1) placed filly Vitesse Dane. Here is hoping to more success for George both on the football field and on the race track.

Matt Giteau

Currently one of the most brilliant attacking rugby players in the world. Matt is a fly half/inside centre that has caused many headaches to opposing teams and great joy to Australian and ACT Brumbies supporters.

Matt, at just 23 years of age, has played 31 tests for Australia and 31 Super 12 games for the Brumbies. He made his debut with the Australian side in November of 2002 on their Spring European Tour, having not played a Super 12 match.

Matt is a shooting star in the sporting community that can be best seen in a recent article in Alpha Magazine (a News Ltd Magazine) that listed him alongside Sonny Bill Williams (Rugby League) and Nick Reiwoldt (AFL) as the future stars of their respective codes.
